Day 1:- Arrive at Bangalore |
|
Meet on arrival and transfer to Hotel, Afternoon visit Lal Bagh-240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, Flowers abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants. GlassHouse (built on the lines of London's Crystal Palace) covers 18000sq feet. Afternoon half day tour visiting to Lakkidi - the gateway to Wayanad, is situated 700m above the sea level, lofty peaks, gurgling streams and luxuriant forests, then visit Ambalavayal Heritage Museum - housing artifacts and belongings of the various tribes of the land. Morning breakfast; proceed for full day sight seeing, visiting to Pookot Lake- this perennial fresh water lake, nestled among wooded hills, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. Boating facilities, children's park and a fresh water aquarium are among the tourist facilities available here, and then visit Meenmutty Waterfalls. Evening free and overnight.
