Day 01: Bangalore |
Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel. Depending on the arrival time, half day sight seeing, visit to cover Lalbagh- 240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, flowers abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants. GlassHouse (built on the lines of London's Crystal Palace) covers 18000sq feet. Vidhana Soudha -built in 1954 in granite, this massive building houses the state Legislature and the Secretariat, Cubbon Park , Bull Temple -Dravidian-style temple, has a huge monolithic Bull is the vahana of Lord Shiva. DAY 02: Bangalore |
Morning breakfast and full day sightseeing, visit to Iskcon temple - built in anarchitectural style, the Krishna Temple is a blend of Modern technology and spiritual harmony, Venkatappa Art Gallery - houses the paintings and art materials of the eminent artists, Government Museum - Acclaimed as one of the oldest museums in the country, this museum houses an amazing collection of archaeological objects, including stone carvings, pottery, weapons, paintings, coins, textiles, sculptures, inscriptions, stone carvings and weapons, Tippu's Palace - Built in 1791, Tippu Sultan's summer retreat is a two-storied ornate wooden structure with fluted pillars, cusped arches and balconies. It now houses a museum that contains artifacts relating to the Hyder-Tipu regime. Later in the evening visit Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain - View the colourful swirling fountains dancing in tune to music, free for shopping at night. Dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Bangalore |
Morning breakfast and proceed for a full day sight seeing to Bannerghatta National Park - For a walk on the wild side, look no further than the southern outskirts of Bangalore city, where you can find everything from fauna to panthers in the Bannerghatta National Park. The 25,000-acre park is home to panthers, lions, tigers and a large variety of birds. Indulge your sense of adventure with a lion and tiger safari. You could also wander through the Zoological Garden, with its canopy of shady and sturdy trees, find a quiet resting spot beside a pond and watch waterfowl frolic. The zoo boasts an amazing reptile collection; a snake park lets you get up close and personal with the scaly, slithery creatures. Lunch and later on visit Brindavan, Whitefield - the summer ashram of Sri Satya Sai Baba. The seer resides at this spiritual and educational centre. Have darshan of Sri Satya Sai Baba and return to Bangalore. Evening free for shopping at the Famous M. G. Road, Brigade Road and Commercial Street, Dinner and overnight. |
